Between flowery terraces and fragrant gardens, this large farmhouse nestled at the foot of umbrella pines cultivates happy desires for Italy. During the hot hours, we like to languish under the waterfall that cools at the end of the bean pool, nap under the terracotta umbrellas, linger in the lounges, in front of the shell frescoes and admire the cashmere drapes extracted from the Liberty archives, furniture and antique objects such as a cabinet of curiosities. Luckily, the weather here has no hold. Better still, it allows digressions: sleep in, daydream, daydream, read, leave in a hurry, to come back as soon as possible, to taste, again and again, this freshness of life. Moreover, the time will soon come to order this Frozen rosé so thirst-quenching, the impeccable combination of Domaine de Marie wine, liqueur, lemon juice and strawberry purée, all on a ton of crushed ice (to be consumed, of course, in moderation).
